Manga Review: A Thousand Year of Snow

One fateful night, Chiyuki, a girl born with a weak heart, meets the mysterious Toya, a vampire who refuses to seek out a human life mate. Unable to submit another person to a terrifying, unknown eternity of life, he is determined to live out the rest of his thousand years in solitude. Chiyuki, nevertheless, sees through his abrasive attitude to his kind heart, and sets out to show him that love is strong enough to survive a lifetime,
even one that lasts a millennium.
Title: A Thousand Year Of Snow

A very interesting addition to the works done by the same artist of Ouran High School Host Club, serialised in Japan in the year 2001 by Hana To Yume.
The work of Bisco can be seen from the drawings easily, from the likeness of Toya and the more famous O-Sama of Ouran. But the story is a complete different with only 3(for the time being) guys fighting for a lady, you could say theres one more but...
Another thing about the book is that since its Bisco's earlier works, don't expect the same quality of artwork. This is a little more noobish? compared to the Ouran, with the artworks not as clean and lines sometimes too defined? Overall the art works are very good and a very nice use of tones to cover big areas.
Ok now the story line, being a guy, the story for me is a little slow but faster then the rest. Somehow in the first book, Bisco is trying to introduce all the main characters and their background story.
This series is consider a better then average work. And i recommend those with a taste for fantasy romance to read it.
